Morteza (Mori) Ghahremani holds the esteemed position of Research Fellow at the School of CIT, Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany. With a penchant for crafting computer vision algorithms that work like digital magic, Mori brings a touch of enchantment to the realm of automated image processing. He held a Ph.D. degree in AI in 2021; Since then, his unwavering focus has been dedicated to unraveling the intricacies of robust AI-based algorithms, particularly those designed to conjure and scrutinize multimodal data and 3D models. Mori's hunger for knowledge and determination to turn mathematical theories and concepts into action has contributed to his works like the theory of orderly disorder (or chaos theory) for segmentation & classification of point cloud data or golden ratio for feature extraction from natural images.
Mori considers himself a ‘forever student,’ eager to both build on his academic foundations in computer vision & medical imaging and stay in tune with the latest advances in these fields. His research interests include - but are not limited to:
